Starting at 15% HP or so. Else this would be too long and boring.Generally it's not very hard, but takes some time (about 35min from beginning to end). Using spr pet to make it faster. On this setup it can slash me 20-30% hp, so even if stunned, surviving is not really a problem. To make it safer, while stunned i switch to con pet, to lower dmg some more.Strategy is quite simple, just go seal/bolt to lure it, then go under fountain and bolt until it goes back. Abyss mire helps a lot, because makes boss move slower and it comes back sometimes while being bolted.

If you try fighting it the way it's done in the LLNMIENA. Why? Because you need three turns for things that may only cost one. Three turns for three MBarrier; three turns to cure your party; three turns - everything costs three turns as opposed to one. Carry Armor simply isn't going to give you that much time.You're faced with multiple problems in this battle:1. Even with Sadness and MBarrier, you can only barely survive Lapis Laser.2. Carry Armor always follows up any Lapis Laser with either one or two physical attacks. Cloud can't handle even one of them, and Nanaki and Cid are in deep shit if any of them go critical while their HP wasn't maxed before Lapis Laser.3. The more you damage Carry Armor, the more often you'll see Lapis Laser. The more often you see Lapis Laser, the harder it becomes to stay alive.4. When you hit the point where Carry Armor's odds of using Lapis Laser are 1 in 2, you need so much time just to stay alive that it's no longer possible to get an attack in.In a nutshell - the faster you try to kill him, the faster you die. The only way to make it out of here is by having Carry Armor deplete its 200 MP on 20 Lapis Lasers; however, that's where the arms come in to make your life really miserable. Every test battle I fought in this style ended when either my MBarriers ran out at an unfortunate moment, or the variables didn't go my way and the arms ended up killing someone.Where does that leave us? Dividing the battle into three phases:PHASE 1: KILL THE ARMS (VIDEO #1)Sad as I am to say it, this part is going to require more than a little luck. Carry Armor may never use Lapis Laser, and the Arms may never use Arm Grab. If either of the two happens, you need to reset.The idea here is to first attack both arms with Bolt, to reduce their chances of Arm Grab to 1 in 128. Then, you need to Haste all three characters; and finally, you need to kill off the arms one by one with Bolt3, as fast as you can. The chance of the Arms using Arm Grab increases as follows:1 in 128 if their HP is above 7,500 but below 10,000;1 in 32 if their HP is above 5,000;1 in 8 if their HP is above 2,500;1 in 2 if their HP is below 2,500.When both Arms are dead, we move on to phase 2.PHASE 2: DEPLETE CARRY ARMOR'S MP (VIDEO #2)This part is far less luck-reliant, but it does require you to pay very close attention to your MBarriers.Start by restoring your MP and putting up MBarriers for everyone. Then, lower Carry Armor's HP to below 18,001 (which boils down to four Bolt3's). This increases its odds of using Lapis Laser to 1 in 3, which is the highest you can handle. Deviate from this principle at your own risk, but feel good about yourself if you can pull it off: I couldn't.Now, all you have to do is wait until Carry Armor has used Lapis Laser 20 times; with the Arms gone, you can now only die if he uses two of them in a row - which is unlikely, but still possible. You can also die if you mess up your MBarrier depletion, but that part's all in your hands. To increase the duration of your MBarriers, you can do what I did in the video, though it isn't required: cast Slow on Nanaki and Cid.Keep up those MBarriers, use Regen if you want, and heal back to full after every Lapis Laser. If you don't trust your own Lapis Laser count, play it safe! Just wait for the Carry Armor's Skill Points are used up. message to appear if you're not sure.When Carry Armor's MP is gone, phase 3 is up.Cloud dies pretty early on. This doesn't really matter, since he was supposed to die anyway.There's an extra Pause near the end of this video, on top of the end-phase pause: I'd been holding up a bathroom break for a long time, and things were about to get messy.PHASE 3: KILL CARRY ARMOR (VIDEO #3)A recurring theme in this challenge: without MP (and without its Arms), Carry Armor is a sitting duck.
