  • Coyote Hangs With Herd Thermal footage (Hot Earth/Dark Nights)

Farmers often invite me out to their land for a late night prowl so they can get an idea what is happening around their herds at night. Here I was camping on some friends pasture land. There wasn't much to see so I moseyed on up to the heard. Suddenly a coyote appeared from behind the thick buck brush between the heard and me. It's difficult to judge distances when you can't see your hand in front of your face but I would guess the herd was about 90 feet away and the coyote was maybe 60 feet away. The cows didn't have a clue it was there and the coyote didn't have a clue I was there. The bright lumpy thing that I aimed at just before sneaking closer to the coyote is one of the many fresh cow pies that I was trying desperately to avoid.FlirGuyI try to respond to all requests for information so if you don't receive a reply within a couple of days please try again.
