Wedding Venue Heartbreak
Wedding Venue Heartbreak WEDDING plans of around 50 couples have been thrown into turmoil after a top hotel went bust. The historic Broadfield Hotel, in Rochdale, shut its doors on Tuesday. Many had paid thousands to hold receptions and now face a desperate hunt for a new venue for their big day. And couples have been told they have `no chance’ of getting their money back unless they paid by credit card. It is thought 15 couples were due to have their wedding receptions before Christmas.
Italy seals Libya colonial deal
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has signed an agreement to pay Libya $5bn as part of a deal to resolve colonial-era disputes. Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi said the settlement signed in the city of Benghazi opened the door to partnership between the two states. Mr Berlusconi said the deal, which sees the money being released over 25 years, ended "40 years of misunderstanding". Libya was occupied by Italy in 1911 before becoming a colony in the 1930s. The former Ott

I'm home from a day at the park and yeah, I got caught by the rain shower at one point as we ran for the shade of a tree over to have the rain trinkle down the back of our shirts. Picnic mixed with frisbee, french cricket and beers makes for a good finish to the summer. Jumping on the net, while my dinner is cooking I came across yet more news on Russia/Georgia not being friends so it's prompted me to tell you what I think ... Does she know what it's called?
Read first if you want:)I used two films to represent Jane Austen. Olivia Williams is older Jane, right around the time her illness started to affect her and Anne Hathaway is Jane at 20, just beginning to develop as a serious writer. Basically, it's Jane remembering her youth and how she got to where she was. I'm not necessarily saying Tom was the inspiration to all her stories, but what she experienced with him and without him definitely played a big part. So to all of you who've read her books or watched the films, it'll be pretty easy to understand. Blurred images represent what's going through her mind, or what she's creating. Brandi Carlile - The Story(I own NONE of the clips, no copyright infrigement is intended, they belong to BBC and Miramax, this video was made for entertainment purposes only)
