WONDERING ABOUT PURPLE BARS? CLICK MORE INFOLove Removal Machine by The Cult, as played by S1ckH4nds in Guitar Hero World Tour on Expert Bass in Bass Career mode on 10/26/2008.PLEASE NOTE: This is not a high score run, and was simply done in order to show the note chart for consumers interested in purchasing this game. If you feel the need to comment on any perceived substandard performance, please don't bother; I already know I suck. :P This run was done as a sightread without any prior knowledge of the chart.Okay, since I'm getting a lot of What are purple bars in this chart?, I'm going to put this on every video out: Purple bars are open notes, a new addition to the gameplay mechanics for bass. Simply, to play an open note, you strum without holding down any frets. It's the equivalent of playing the low E string on a real bass. Additionally, you may see wider purple and white bars; those are open note pull-offs, meaning in order to play them you simply release whatever frets you were previously holding down. It's a pretty difficult addition to get the hang of immediately, but with practice it should become second nature.Well, seeing as how I've already gone through the RB2 and RockRev setlists, I figured I may as well pick up GHWT and work my way through it as well. About as easy as She Sells Sanctuary was -- that is, until the speed goes up at the very end. If you're not expecting it, it will catch you off guard, so be forewarned.

www.EmploymentCrossing.com Amazon.com has projected 2008 sales that may be US$1 billion less than analysts estimated, suggesting the world's largest internet retailer isn't immune to the slowdown in consumer spending, Bloomberg reports. Revenue growth slowed toward the end of the third quarter, "coinciding" with disruptions in the financial markets, CFO Tom Szkutak said during a conference call with investors and analysts. Annual sales will be between 18 and 19 billion, Seattle-based Amazon said, in contrast to the company's July forecast of $20 billion. Amazon’s reduced forecast, along with online auctioneer EBay projection last week for its first quarterly sales decline, suggest online retailers won't be spared the effects of the financial crisis on Wall Street, which has hit retailers going into the holiday season. Last month, the National Retail Federation said U.S. retailers may post the smallest holiday sales gain in six years, as consumers facing rising unemployment and food and fuel prices pare spending on non-necessities. Using the Israelite experience of bringing their first fruits to the temple as a narrative for remembering the great acts of a saving God, Phil Kniss, lead pastor of the Park View Mennonite Church, Harrisonburg, VA., told his congregation that the modern American church has lost this narrative in a consumer culture. "We need to restore this narrative today," he said in his sermon entitled "How (not) to worship." This larger story, he said, is all about sacrifice, about giving up of ourselves to the larger purposes of God.

Speak Positive About Real Estate Market in Your Town and Do Not Discount Consumer Confidence Posted in October 27th, 2008 Category:Homes In business, we often say that the customer is King and indeed, the consumer is the supreme authority, not only on which products and services they purchase but also on the economy itself. If consumers believe the economy is going well then they will continue to spend, but if they feel poor or they think [...]

The Economic Tidalwave Brings Trends. (Also, lipstick. Beachcombers befuddled.) Friend and fellow brand strategist, Matthew Fenton, just wrote an excellent blog about what brands can do to surf this economic tidal wave. I come at the question from a slightly different angle – looking at what consumer trends will be on the upswing as things get tighter. (Opportunities, people! The glass is half full.) Here are a few trends I see:

To provide, at no cost to consumers, out of court dispute resolution of their complaints against insurance companies arising from long-term insurance policies. When should a consumer lodge a complaint with the Office of the Long-term Insurance Ombudsman? As soon as possible.  The complaint should first be taken up with the relevant insurer itself, and then it can be taken to the Ombudsman’s office if the comp

  • Sharp Slowdown in Asia Nears

BANGKOK — Asia, the world’s last redoubt of fast economic growth, may be closer to a downturn than people think. For the U.S. and other developed countries, investors typically define a recession as two consecutive quarters of economic contraction. For Asia, though, a sharp downturn occurs when region-wide annual growth slows to between 5% and 6%. For China, which has had multiple years of double-digit growth, the rate at which a downturn could effectively begin is likely even higher, possibly
