Rather than comment, I decided to do something a bit creative. The market for "bootleg" electronics could become very active during the economic crisis, and there are definitely ways to take advantage of it without defrauding consumers. The short answer is to make original products. Instead of a $25 "U2 iPod," give it an original design and sell it for the same low price! Any Chinese manufacturing outfit that can produce these devices could make a KILLING by showing a little originality!America's "me too" consumerism makes these expensive brands part of a "lifestyle" that you can buy. If a USEFUL product is available for a FRACTION of the price that the high-end product costs, then Americans might break away from that mentality and escape the grip of consumerism.

I don't know how such a game will do on the western market generally, but I am sure that japanese players will also be quite gagging for a game like this, or anything along those lines really.
