Time Commanders is a series of programmes made by Lion TV for BBC Two.It uses an edited version of the game engine behind the real-time strategy game Rome: Total War by the Creative Assembly to recreate famous battles of the ancient world. The battles are replayed by 4-player teams from diverse backgrounds. The teams are unfamiliar with computer games, to make sure their gaming skills do not influence their success. After a brief introduction of the battle, including an overview of military units, terrain and available forces, the players have to develop a strategy and then deploy their forces. Two of the players are selected as generals, who will direct the battle and have access to a strategic map. The other two players are designated lieutenants, the units are indirectly controlled by the lieutenants, who issue commands to program assistants, who in turn use the game interface to control the units.

As the world's most lethal aircraft, it is more advanced than other aircraft and the first next generation craft, with almost UFO-like capabilities.Although Russia may have the world's largest airplane (the Russian Antonov 225), the US has the fastest.The SR-71, Blackbird, has a top speed of Mach 3.5 -- more than 3 times the speed of sound. Its actual top speed may be classified, but much higher. It is 107 feet long with a maximum altitude of over 100,000 feet and has stealth capabilities. Some think a replacement, the Aurora, is entering service. The SR-71 is one of the first Stealth Aircraft, because of its design and coating. The SR-71 may still be the world's fastest airplane. Some may have been brought back into service.
