july 29th at 12 AM i went up to bed, Bugsy was bugging me to let him out so i did, he seemed fine... But he wasn't. After i was done playing with him i put him back in his cage. Then he was begging for pellets so i gave him a small handful and shut the cage door. And then he did his normal going nuts over his pellet dance and eat some. But then so suddenly he was running around his cage with his mouth up looking like he was having trouble breathing. I tried to take him out to calm him down but he went nuts and jumped up to his upper level of his cage. I was scared so i went and got my mom. When we came back upstairs he had green gunk coming out from what looked like his nose and mouth. So my mom called our vet to get the number for the emergency vet. So then i rapped him up in a towel and put him in a carrier and rushed off to the vet. (this is at 12:30 AM jsyk) When we got to the vet (half an hour later) the vet tec took him to the back while my mom filled out the form thingy. We waited about 20 minutes until they called us back, and as soon as they did i knew it wasn't going to be good. So then the doctor came in and told us that Bugsy was not well, and that he had fluid in his lungs and they put him on oxygen, at that point i started crying (i was at home too but this was the first time i cried at the vet's office) then he said we could have them do CPR but it wouldn't have kept him alive for long anyway. Then he went back into the back room to check on him and he came out saying that he could not breath on his own and was turning blue. So i made my decision to let him go. They did it in the back because he was suffering so much, and the vet didn't want me to see him that way. My mom signed the paper that said they could do it and then they did, my baby, my life went bye bye :'(If we hadn't taken to him to the vet then, i would have found him dead in the morning.I will miss you Bugsy...
