Im not too sure how good this run is because I only beat the gold achievement by 1 second. The method I used for this may seem a bit strange to you if you dont understand how the button triggers work in portal. Basically I made the companion cube skim over the buttons surface so that it just moves through the trigger, allowing me to put an orange portal on the other side of the grill. That is the reason I place the blue portal above the button so that when the cube moves through the orange portal, it deactivates the grill while falling to the ground, making it easy for me to quickly grab it and place it on the second button.

Although it may not look hard, this chamber was a pain in the ass! I had to try the beginning over and over again so that I could get a perfect shot while making sure I am facing the right way to shoot the next portal. It can definately be done faster using less fall through's and a quicker finish. I hope I never have to do this one again.

The start of this chamber is by far the hardest part to do quickly as you either make it across the first room before the roof is too far down or you dont and then lose a lot of time. This part is also tricky because the ledge that has the turretsis not high enough to gain enough momentum just by jumping off and so I had to use the turrets as something to jump off in order to gain more height. Since making the first room is a rare occassion, I was very lucky to have done the second part smoothely. I think about 1 or 2 seconds can be saved on this chamber but it is by far the hardest one I have done so far.

I didn't have to attempt this chamber much until I was satisfied. The only real trouble that I encountered was hitting the end of the energy beam when getting flung across the bridge but this wasn't a problem when reaching the bridge earlier. The reason why it seems that I teleport into the elevator is just because I ABH after the fling and so I have massive speed.

It took me quite a long time to discover a fast route of this chamber because i was a bit confused about its layout. I took the option of jumping off a portal I have already created to gain enough height to reach the elevator level. The start may also be a bit baffling but I am just completing the first room very fast, no tricks there.
