After the third course, Grumble Volcano, a WH member voted instead of choosing random. WH's Leader Freddy, stated that this violation would result in a 10 point deduction before the match. WT was forced to bring up this violation because we believed WH incorrectly scored the 2nd GP. After WH posted a win for themselves without showing proof, WT was forced to enforce this rule.After stalling for 5 days, WH finally released its video of the 2nd GP. It did, in fact, show that WT had won and WH incorrectly reported their score. WT has no need to enforce this rule, as we won outright on overall points:257-254Edit

Which is confusing especially after I read the rules multiple times.I guess deduction is useless if it is based on inaccurate information. Here's why I thought I made it:"Judges will select ten (10) finalists from among all eligible entries received during the Promotional Time Period. Judging will be completed on or about July 15, 2008."[This sentence gave me the impression that the pre-selection of finalists would have been completed in mid-July. As a result, I did not tell anyone about the contest until I received the phone call from Access Group about being a "potential Finalist."]"The entries with the highest point totals will be selected as the ten (10) potential finalists..."[Since I believed that the judging would be completed in mid-July, I thought that only "ten" potential finalists would have already been determined. Since I received the legal paperwork (see below) but was not selected as a finalist, I'm guessing that more than ten individuals received notice, not necessarily the ten finalists that the rules clearly stated would have been selected already in mid-July.]"On or about July 15, 2008, the potential Finalists will be will be notified by phone or email to the number/address given on entry. The potential Finalists will be required to respond within 72 hours, or will be disqualified and another potential Finalist chosen, based on judging and related criteria stated above. In addition, within 7 days of initial notification, potential Finalist will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Assignment of Rights and Publicity Release and Mutually-Agreeable Liability Release or Sponsor may declare prize forfeited and another potential Finalist may be chosen."[This paragraph pertaining to the waivers also led me to believe that, once an individual receive that phone or e-mail, he or she was selected as one of "ten" potential finalists. Though this paragraph only says "potential Finalists," a holistic reading of the rules lead to me believe that this phrase referred to the ten potential finalists previously mentioned in prior provisions. Plus, since I signed the waivers and you confirmed that they had arrived at the Access Group office and I received no notice about forfeiture or the like, I was reasonably certain that I had made the Top 10.]All of these rule provisions combined lead me to think (wrongly) that I had made the finals. This is not a huge deal in the long run and I don't want to make it a bigger issue than necessary. However, I now have the unenviable (and embarrassing) task of telling all of my loved ones and friends that I did not make the One Less Worry finals. Had the rules been written more accurately, in effect letting me know that judging was not completed in mid-July and that more than ten individuals would received "potential Finalist" distinction rather than the ten finalists, I would have tempered my expectations.Sigh. Thanks for letting me "Vent" though and good luck to the actual finalists!- Paul
