A monkey is any member of either the New World monkeys or Old World monkeys, two of the three groupings of simian primates, the third group being the apes. The zoo occupies 45 hectares (111 acres) and houses about 4,600 animals that represent 630 species from all around the world. Thils forestland contains old-growth tees that are deemed eto be at least 300 years old and bigger around than three people can reach. Numerous species of trees and animals live in the forest and migrating birds stop on their treks south. The ecosystem is unique in its own right, but is even more extraordinary because of its urban setting. The Warner Parks are only 9 miles from downtown Nashville. You may have heard about the Parks rare chance to purchase this land and thechallenge that lies ahead: the Friends of Warner Parks have to raise the bulk of the$13.25 million price tag by the end of this year.
