NVISION 08 - Day 1 Lan Area

Morning came about pretty quick on the first day of NVISION 08, though there isn't really anything happening yet. Except for the LAN Gaming arena, Tournament, Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) and ESWC, the rest of the exhibits do not open till 3pm. I expect to be able to see some demos and some hands-on for some newer games such as Battlefield Heroes when the exhibits open up. However, there was already some action in the LAN arena. Stuff to be excited about after the jump.

The attempt to get into the Guinness Book of World Records by having the longest non-stop BYOC LAN party 36-hours straight has begun. Gamers much be connected onto the LAN/Network and Must be playing a network game for at least 36 hours, with a 10min break for every 60min played. According to NVISION officials, the Guinness attempt is a sold out event, with people still in the waiting list to get into the 200+ seats allocated for this feat. Do you want to be in this book?
